Job summary

A leading UK financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer for a 6-month contract in London. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in AWS, GCP, or Azure, solid experience in decision-making and management, as well as proficient skills in DevOps practices including infrastructure as code with Terraform. This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule of 1-2 days per week in the office and involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in AWS, GCP, or Azure, ideally with public cloud certifications.
• Experience in decision making and leadership roles.
• Solid understanding of automation and collaboration in a DevOps environment.

Responsibilities

• Join the team on an initial 6-month contract.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate on infrastructure as code and CI/CD implementations.

Skills

Strong knowledge in AWS, GCP, or Azure

Decision making/Senior/Management experience

Understanding of DevOps mind-set

Our UK based leading banking client is looking for a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract

• Strong knowledge in either GCP, AWS or Azure, (ideally evidence of progress made towards public cloud certifications)
• Decision making/Senior/Management experience
• Solid understanding of the DevOps mind‑set, collaboration, automation, and tooling, including experience of infrastructure as code (Terraform) and a solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines including Team City or Gitlab
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
• Gitlab and devops implementation experience
