Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support commissioning and technical operations across a range of energy assets. This is a remote/home-based role with travel to sites across the UK. The role offers the opportunity to work on advanced power generation systems and drive improvements in safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission electrical systems to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements
• Provide technical and engineering support across existing assets, including CHPs, gas turbines, boilers, heat pumps, PV arrays, battery systems, and steam turbines
• Support project managers to deliver successful projects on time and within scope
• Develop acceptance criteria, commissioning plans, procedures, and best practices
• Lead and support witness testing and acceptance testing of new assets
• Deliver technical training to colleagues and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong safety culture across the business

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in power generation, power stations, CHP systems, heat pumps, gas or steam turbines
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems in industrial or energy environments
• Experience in commissioning, testing, and handover of large-scale energy assets
• Ability to travel nationwide as required
