Job description

As a Senior Associate in Sales Growth Enablement, you will contribute to shaping strategic direction, demonstrating a proven ability to add value to the business. This involves cross‑team collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Analytical teams, along with independent research to uncover insights that optimise sales strategy. The Senior Associate will assist senior team members in transforming the strategy into a practical plan.

Responsibilities
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders including front line Sales functions, Relationship Managers and Product teams within HSBC Innovation Banking UK.
  • Analyse business trends and market intelligence to shape sales strategy and define best practices.
  • Provide sales intelligence to support data‑driven decision making across the business.
  • Increase efficiency through technology automation and encourage adoption by providing training to frontline teams.
  • Support the delivery of large‑scale technology projects by providing subject‑matter expertise and strategic insights.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple teams, enhancing collaboration by integrating diverse perspectives into projects and decision‑making processes.
  • Represent HSBC Innovation Banking at industry events, sharing best‑practice insights on technology advancements.
Qualifications
  • Experienced in analysing large data sets and deriving meaningful insights.
  • Previous experience, or a desire, to work in client‑facing environments.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments, managing multiple projects and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and tools such as CRM Dynamics, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Qlik, PitchBook, Beauhurst, CapIQ, etc.
  • Understanding of, or interest in, the innovation economy.

  • Commercial Office (CCO) spans areas including Marketing, Product Management, Product Sales & Implementation, Proposition & Pricing, Client Experience and Innovation Global Markets Teams – collectively ensuring we deliver the right products to our clients at the right time and communicate meaningfully with our customers.
  • Home office located in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working, requiring employees to be based in the office two days per week.
