The ideal candidate will possess over a year of experience in the banking sector, showcasing strong analytical and communication skills. This role involves supporting data issue remediations and preparing insightful metrics to enhance compliance. The position offers competitive benefits, including hybrid working arrangements for flexibility.
Join our Finance and Tax team within the Finance Management, People and Engagement division that plays a key role in delivering accurate, well‑governed, and timely financial and regulatory reporting. As part of this team, the Platforms and Transformation function focuses on improving data quality, strengthening controls, and enhancing reporting processes across Finance and Tax. Partnering closely with stakeholders across the organisation to uplift governance, resolve issues, and deliver meaningful change.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in the advertised location.

We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone – no matter what role – contributes ideas and drives outcomes.
In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across Reporting, Risk, Finance and Data teams to triage data issues, assisting in root‑cause investigations and gathering relevant information to drive effective resolutions. You will play a key role in supporting the remediation of data issues while ensuring decisions are well documented and auditable.
As part of the wider Platforms and Transformation team you will contribute to data governance activities and improve the control environment for tax and regulatory reporting, prepare insightful metrics and maintain dashboards to track progress on recurring issues and monitor compliance within established frameworks.
Financial Management, People and Engagement (FPE) provides a single interface for Macquarie's businesses across key areas of people, strategy, communications and financial management. Comprising two pillars – Financial Management, and People and Engagement – it is responsible for managing the Group's financial, tax and treasury activities and strategic priorities, fostering our culture through people and community engagement strategies, and engaging with stakeholders to protect and promote Macquarie's reputation globally.
We are committed to providing a working environment that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply regardless of their identity, including age, disability, neurodiversity, gender (including gender identity or expression), sexual orientation, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy, parental status, race (including ethnic or national origin), religion or belief, or socio‑economic background.
