We are seeking a Senior / Associate MEP Estimators specialising in Data Centres to join our team in London. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of cost estimations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in complex data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for MEP systems in data centre projects
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and technical input
• Support bid submissions and presentations to clients
• Identify value engineering opportunities and risk factors
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Mentor and guide junior team members in MEP cost management practices

Qualifications

• Proven experience in estimating MEP works, ideally within the data centre or mission‑critical sector
• Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in MEP cost estimation, with a focus on data centre projects
• In‑depth understanding of data centre design and construction principles
• Advanced knowledge of MEP systems and data centre infrastructure
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to MEP systems and data centres
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Desirable: membership of RICS / CIOB / A. Cost E.
