Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well-established regional law firm currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their Commercial Property team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to work on a varied and high-quality caseload within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

This is a senior, client-facing position offering the opportunity to lead and support a broad range of commercial property matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising a diverse client base across sectors including housing and third sector
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of property-related legal documents
  • Managing complex caseloads and providing strategic legal guidance
  • Supervising junior team members and offering mentoring support
  • Engaging in business development and attending networking events
  • Maintaining technical competence and staying up to date with legal developments
  • Leading by example in line with SRA competence standards

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or legal executive with:

  • 5+ years PQE in commercial property
  • Experience in the housing sector or with third sector clients (advantageous)
  • Strong technical legal knowledge and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex caseloads
