Job description

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Senior Associate to join our talented team.

The firm

The firm specialises in Civil Litigation, providing legal advice, case management and court representation throughout England & Wales. Our practice areas include insolvency, consumer credit, housing and personal injury. Our clients range from individuals, high street solicitors to blue chip companies and LLP’s.

The role

In conjunction with the Directors and Partner, you will be responsible for the management and efficient performance of the legal services offered by the firm. You will be required to make operational, compliance and strategic decisions about LPC Law and ensure their implementation, actively seeking to improve processes and procedures.

This opportunity is suited to a driven and commercially minded individual. You will be focused on providing excellent client care and maintaining levels of client satisfaction. You will be required to instruct and supervise staff and advocates assisting in the conduct of litigation, and oversee litigation conducted by other solicitors employed by the firm.

You will provide support to Managers and the Senior Clerk dealing with emergency out of hours calls in relation to the advocacy service.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor (3+ years PQE), with experience in general civil and commercial litigation and have previous managerial experience. The ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet strict deadlines is essential. The role will require excellent teamwork, organisation and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Previous advocacy experience would be advantageous

Working hours

37.5 hours per week between 08:30-18:00, Monday to Friday (1 hour for lunch)
