Job summary

Qualifications

Senior Clinical Trials Pharmacy Assistant - Band 3

Pharmacy Shared Services - Based at Royal London Hospital (RLH) with rotation to Whipps Cross and Newham University Hospital with future rotation into the Clinical Research Facility.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join the team and develop skills within this exciting area.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who has good organisational and communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. You will be responsible for supporting the setup and maintenance of trials being run at Barts Health, and ensure they are being managed according to the regulatory requirements for research.

Interviews will be held in-person on 6th Jan 2026.

Job responsibilities

The role is full time, Monday-Friday (with additional evening, weekend and bank holiday commitments). Full training and development opportunities will be provided.

Qualifications
  • NVQ QCF Level 2 in pharmacy services
Experience
  • Proven experience of good performance in previous Pharmacy posts
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy clinical trials, aseptics or dispensary services
