Telford & Wrekin Council is working in partnership with MPFT to revolutionise child and family protection in the borough. The ground-breaking Family Safeguarding model brings together all the professionals we need under one roof, to provide intensive support to parents to address the substance misuse, mental health and domestic abuse that place children at risk of harm. Your role will be to support Psychologists and multiagency team: the Family Safeguarding Team, providing a high quality, specialist applied psychology service to clients, their families or carers, where there are highly complex presentations and to utilise research skills for audit, service development and research. You will be responsible for delivering a psychology assessment and treatment service and support the multi-disciplinary teams to apply psychological models and evidence based practice in their work.
