Senior Assistant Healthcare Scientist role in the Biochemistry department at William Harvey Hospital (WHH), Ashford, Kent. This full-time 37.5 hours per week, Band 3 position is based at WHH and involves 5 days over a 7-day week with a combination of early, late and weekend shifts. The Biochemistry department operates 24/7, processing acute urgent work, inpatient and outpatient work, and GP work for the East Kent region. You will be part of a close team alongside Assistant Healthcare Scientists, Biomedical Scientists and Clinical Scientists. It is an exciting opportunity to join the Biochemistry team and help shape future strategy and services for the local population.
After a period of training, the post-holder will support HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist staff in performing various technical and scientific tasks within the laboratory, including:
