Job Title: Senior Architect (Transport and Infrastructure) - CONTRACT ROLE

Location: Mancheser, York, Manchester, London or Birmingham Hybrid Working Available

Hourly Rate: 35ph - 40ph

About the Role

Join a world-leading multi-disciplinary design consultancy at an exciting time of growth. Following major international project wins, we're expanding our award-winning Architecture team across rail stations, depots, airports, energy infrastructure, and masterplanning sectors.

As Senior Architect, you'll lead complex infrastructure projects within our RIBA Chartered Practice, delivering innovative built environment solutions across UK and global markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design projects from conception to completion across all RIBA work stages
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams, architectural partners, and sub-consultants
  • Deliver high-quality designs, drawings, reports, and technical documentation
  • Drive collaborative solutions across architecture and engineering disciplines
  • Support bidding activities including cost estimates, programmes, and deliverables
  • Provide technical leadership and site support throughout project lifecycles
  • Ensure delivery to engineering standards, within budget and on schedule
Essential Requirements
  • ARB & RIBA Chartered Architect with substantial post-qualification experience
  • Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects (transportation sector ideal)
  • Expert-level Autodesk Revit skills with strong BIM knowledge
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Photoshop/InDesign)
  • Excellent technical writing and presentation capabilities
  • Solution-focused approach with strong communication skills
  • Collaborative team player who thrives under pressure
Desirable Experience
  • International projects, particularly Middle East region
  • Bentley software (AECOsim)
  • Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms
