Senior Applications Support Officer

This opening assignment is for 3 months.

Hybrid working with on‑site attendance by agreement when required.

The Council are looking for an experienced Senior Applications Support Officer WAS to play a key role in supporting and developing the NEC Housing systems.

You will work as part of a specialist team implementing and supporting modules within the NEC Housing system, helping ensure housing services run smoothly for residents and staff.

You will provide expert‑level application support for NEC Housing, working closely with service teams to maintain data quality, resolve issues and support system improvements. This will include hands‑on system support, data analysis and problem‑solving across critical housing functions.

Essential skills and experience
  • Extensive knowledge of NEC Housing, including both the application and its database tables
  • Strong expertise in either:
    • NEC Repairs
    • NEC Rents and Estates
  • Significant SQL skills, with experience extracting and manipulating data from theighbor NEC Housing database
  • Experience of troubleshooting Repairs issues and/or financial reconciliation of migrated accounts from a Legacy system into NEC
