We're working with a growing organisation based in Central London that's looking to hire a Native Android Developer to join their mobile engineering team.

This is a onsite role, ideal for someone who enjoys close collaboration, hands‑on development, and working on high‑quality Android applications in a fast‑paced environment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining native Android applications used by a large and growing user base. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver reliable, high‑performance mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications
• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Contribute to improving app performance, stability, and UX

Essential Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience as a Native Android Developer
• Strong experience with Kotlin (Java experience also beneficial)
• Solid understanding of Android SDK and modern Android development practices
• Experience with common Android architectures (MVVM or similar)
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Jetpack components
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in collaborative, onsite engineering teams
