What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include :

  • Drive the refactoring of existing C# marketing related applications into Python to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Integrate Snowplow Snowbridge for real-time data ingestion and processing.
  • Develop and maintain applications that validate and send data to APIs (Appsflyer, Firebase, sGTM etc.).
  • Design and implement robust cloud-based solutions with Azure, including alerting, queueing, buffering and failing mechanisms.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of data pipelines to support global operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data workflows that align with business objectives.
  • Bonus : Experience with JavaScript is highly desirable, as you will work with marketing and analytics tags and collaborate on Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementations.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table
  • Given the complexity of the tasks (refactoring, real-time data integration, API communication, Azure deployment, and ensuring reliability), this role requires someone with significant experience in :
  • Proficiency in Python development, including experience with frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure services such as Event Hub, Functions, or Data Factory.
  • Expertise in real‑time data processing frameworks. API integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of API integrations and data validation techniques.
  • Proven ability to design and maintain scalable data pipelines.
  • In addition to technical expertise, the role also demands strong soft skills, including effective communication, problem‑solving, collaboration, and adaptability to thrive in a fast‑paced, global environment.
Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
  • Experience with event‑driven architectures and tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Knowledge of data validation and transformation best practices.
  • Experience working in regulated industries or handling sensitive customer data is a strong advantage.
