Job summary

A leading global real estate investor is looking for a Senior Analyst for their Real Estate Investment team in London. This role involves supporting deal execution and conducting analysis for European real estate transactions, with a focus on the Nordics. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or economics and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Fluency in English and a second European language is desirable.

Job Summary

Our client is a leading global real estate investor with significant capital to deploy across the UK and Europe. As part of the group’s growth plan, they are looking to hire a Senior Analyst in their Real Estate Investment team London to support deal execution on European real estate transactions with a focus on the Nordics.

Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting deal execution on European real estate transactions, primarily focused on the UK, Nordics, Germany, and the Netherlands
  • Responsible for conducting research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in different geographies and asset classes.
  • Contribute to the development of investment strategies for European Real Estate markets.
  • Support deal activity in financial modelling of potential deals, designing and maintaining underwriting models
  • Assist in analysing, structuring, negotiating and recommending new deals.
  • Responsible for preparing investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
  • Support transaction execution workstreams, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentation.
  • Support asset management activities relating to existing investments
Background and Experience
  • Minimum Bachelor degree (1st or 2:1), ideally in finance or accounting or economics
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience working in a real estate team within an investment bank or private equity firm
  • Deal experience in value-add and opportunistic strategies
  • Broad real estate sector experience
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Strong judgement and decision making skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Native level written and spoken English
  • Fluency in a second European language is desirable including Swedish
