A regulatory body for dental professionals in London seeks a Senior Advisory Lawyer to provide expert legal advice and ensure public safety in dental services. This role requires a qualified solicitor with experience in regulatory law, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage risks effectively. This fixed-term, full-time position offers a salary range of £69,489 - £81,752, flexible hybrid work arrangements, and generous benefits, including up to 30 days annual leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a wide ranging legal advisory post, where you will use your legal expertise to make a real impact, maintaining public confidence in dental services and protecting the safety of patients.
As a Senior Advisory Lawyer, you will play a leading role at the General Dental Council - providing legal advice, guidance, direction and instructions to support proportionate and risk-based decision-making. You will advise on matters that fall within the remit of the In-House Legal Advisory Service, keep up to date with changes to case law and help to ensure processes reflect best practice and the GDC s regulatory strategy. In addition to being a source of professional legal and regulation expertise, the post holder will provide legal advice across the work of the wider team and supervise junior colleagues in so doing.
