Senior Admissions Officer — Full time, Permanent — Grade 6 (£32,079.92 - £37,694.44)

The Strategy, Governance, and External Relations service leads the University in both its outward facing activities and our internal corporate relationships and communications. The team covers a range of activities, including Communications, Events and Engagement, Governance, Marketing, Web and Design, Strategic Planning, UK Recruitment and Admissions and Administrative Services. The staff comprises a mix of specialisms to ensure the University is positioned with a distinctive voice and creates impact in terms of both reputation and revenue.

The University now seeks to appoint a Senior Admissions Officer.

Reporting to the Admissions Manager, you will provide professional and high-quality admissions service to UK and International applicants, processing applications for all study levels to support the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives relating to student recruitment.

The role requires a strong understanding of Higher Education admissions processes and policies, along with expertise in the SITS student record system. The postholder will lead on the processing of Undergraduate and Postgraduate applications (Home and International), taking ownership of complex admissions procedures and decision-making. The role will ensure that robust processes are in place and consistently followed, enabling efficient offer-making, excellent customer service, and full compliance with institutional policies and UKVI requirements. The postholder will also contribute to ongoing process improvements and workflow optimisation.
