Overview

Senior Administrative Officer – Bridgend County Borough Council, Brynmenyn, United Kingdom.

This role is based at Brynmenyn Primary School. It is a full-time position in a leadership/administrative capacity, with 37 hours per week and the post open to candidates with the latest education/graduate level criteria (GCSE).

Job Responsibilities
  • Be able to work positively with children, staff, parents/carers and the community.
  • Be proactive, flexible and a team player.
  • Have high expectations of themselves and others and take pride in their role.
  • Manage and prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Have knowledge of SIMS Management Information/Financial Management Systems.
  • Be responsible for the efficient management of the reception and office, liaising with parents, staff and a range of outside agencies.
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative; be an active team member.
  • The ability to greet customers through Welsh would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
  • Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
