Qualifications

• Significant progressive accounting experience (typically 7+ years) with leadership responsibility in a multinational environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP and practical understanding of US GAAP and their interplay.
• Experience with statutory reporting, audit management and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Practical knowledge of UK tax regimes (VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax).
• Excellent people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting for the Company's international business units in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
• Ensure all requirements of the monthly close processes are complete.
• Completion of statutory reporting requirements and support internal and external audits.
• Responsible for entity oversight and governance support.
• Partner with local business leadership across large defense and commercial entities.

Good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Education
