Job title: Senior Accountant/Semi Senior Accountant (Depending on experience)

Location: Stratford upon Avon

Working pattern: Full time, Mon-Fri 8:15-5:15

Responsibilities

• Accounts & Tax Preparation - Prepare and submit client accounts and tax returns, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely filing.
• Client Liaison - Act as a proactive point of contact, gathering information and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Business & Tax Planning - Support managers and partners with tax planning, advisory projects, and identifying opportunities to add client value.
• Quality & Performance - Deliver work to high standards, monitor budgets, record chargeable time, and maximise recovery.
• Team Support & Development - Provide coaching to trainees and collaborate with colleagues across assignments.
• Technical & Professional Growth - Attend training, use support networks, and apply knowledge to complex queries.
• Bookkeeping & Systems Support - Assist clients with bookkeeping, ledgers, management accounts, and software queries.
• Firm Representation - Support marketing efforts, client seminars, and contribute to lead generation for wealth planning services.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete accounts files accurately and efficiently
• Ability to complete personal tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Strong computer literacy
• Strong active listening skills
• Excellent problem resolutions skills and idea generation ability
• In depth accounts prep Knowledge
• Knowledge of Accounting systems including CCH, Xero, Sage Line 50, Farmplan and other software as required. Knowledge of their uses and benefits
• ACCA or ACA qualified or part qualified

• Salary depending on experience, but likely to range up to 45,000 (potentially more)
