The finance team drives success by managing accounts payable, bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. They ensure compliance through regulatory reporting and audits while maintaining financial integrity and shaping Makos strategic financial future.

What you'll be involved in
  • Leading the preparation and coordination of statutory accounts for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Managing the end-to-end audit process, including planning, coordination, and timely delivery.
  • Liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain deadlines.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, and Australian GAAP, alongside group accounting policies.
  • Supporting automation and process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
  • Contributing to month-end and year-end close processes where required.
  • Applying project management tools and techniques to improve efficiency and accountability in audit delivery.
What we need from you
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in multi-jurisdiction financial reporting, specifically UK GAAP, US GAAP, and Australian GAAP.
  • Proven track record in delivering audits to tight deadlines.
  • Exposure to process automation and systems improvement projects.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across global teams.
  • Desirable: Experience using SunSystems.
