Position Summary

Senior Accounting and Reporting Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting and financial reporting systems. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex financial systems and processes, and will be able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage the company’s general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in accounting principles and company procedures.
Work Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 8 years of related experience; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a Ph.D. without work experience; or equivalent experience.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
