GPN Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in London, who are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant into its Business Services team as part of continued growth. The role will involve taking ownership of a varied client portfolio and acting as a key point of contact, working closely with managers and partners to deliver accounts and tax services.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
• Reviewing corporation tax computations and associated filings
• Overseeing VAT compliance and returns
• Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
• Acting as the main day-to-day contact for clients
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring within the team

Qualifications & Experience

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Experienced and technically strong in preparing statutory accounts and tax returns
• Extensive experience gained within a UK accountancy firm
• Confident working directly with clients
