An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountancy Assistant to join our dynamic and busy Finance Team.The role will include a hybrid working arrangement with a combination of home and office working based at White Rose Park, Leeds. This role will be supporting the Finance Business Partner and Senior Management Accountant to help ensure robust and accurate financial management and reporting are completed at all times within the business units.The Financial Management team provides finance support to budget holders across the organisation by providing robust financial reports and quality assured financial information, high quality financial advice, with financial management support to Business Units, costing advice, cost information and financial benchmarking information to managers.
The post holder will:Act as lead finance contact for a portfolio of budgets, conducting regular meetings with budget managers, reviewing spend to date, forecast outturns and progress towards CIPs.Calculate and input accruals and prepayments in accordance with the internal monthly accounts timetable.Ensure that the day-to-day operational functions of the Finance Department are efficient and effective.Dealing with day-to-day budget holder queries in a professional and timely manner.Support the Finance Business Partner to calculate budgets and input into financial forecasting.Produce timely and accurate monthly budget reports and variance analysis to specified timescales.Work with managers and colleagues to continually improve the quality of services within the overall Trust governance frameworks.Please Review the Job Description and Person Specification Attached for full Requirements of the Role.Adverts will close early where the maximum numbers applicants is reached.For more Information about this Job, Please contact-Richard StephensonFinance Business PartnerRichard.Stephenson6@nhs.net
