The Role of Senior Account Manager
As Senior Account Manager you will take ownership of 8-10 of the largest spending accounts, grossing around 3m in revenue per year. Your role will be to nurture those relationships and ultimately retain and grow account revenues by upselling and cross-selling additional solutions. Your accounts will primarily be large management consultancies, so if you have sold to management consultancies in the past, that will be highly desirable.
Around 25% of your time will be spent hunting new business. The rest of your time will be focused on managing your existing accounts.
The services which you can sell are all complimentary to one another and include research (sold on a subscription basis), consultancy, data and event solutions.
