Job summary

A local educational authority in Worthing is seeking a SENDCo and PPG Lead to inspire and enhance the education of SEND and disadvantaged pupils. The successful candidate will lead and support teaching staff in delivering quality education. Applicants should have a passion for teaching, commitment to inclusion, and ideally hold or be willing to pursue the National Award for SEN Coordination. Qualifications

  • Experience as a teacher or SENDCO, preferably in a primary school setting.

We are looking for a motivated, inspirational Special Needs Coordinator who is committed to high standards of achievement for SEND and disadvantaged pupils.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers or SENDCOs and from non‑Catholics as well as Catholics.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the teaching staff in providing the highest standards of teaching for SEND pupils in this caring, nurturing and well‑supported school.

Salary: According to previous experience. This position is being advertised at the payscale of MS4 - UPS3. An additional pro‑rata SEN allowance may be available.
