Overview

Aspire People are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support across educational settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils with Special Educational Needs thrive and succeed in their learning journey.

In this role, you can expect to work closely with teachers, SENDCos, and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils with a range of needs, including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Autism, and Speech & Language needs. Your support will help ensure that every child has access to the curriculum and feels valued, understood, and included in their learning environment.

  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications

  • Be calm, patient, and understanding of varying levels of need.

  • Be organised, enthusiastic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
