SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary starting ASAP with potential to go permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a secondary setting that provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for pupils with complex needs. Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with complex SEND needs
  • Assist teachers in implementing personalised learning plans
  • Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the class teacher and SENCO
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work flexibly across different year groups and adapt to varying needs
  • Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing practices across the school
Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant
