SEND TEACHER

Contract: Full-time Initially 1 Half Term Likely to Extend Possible Permanent Role

Salary: paid to scale

A well-established SEN school in Uxbridge, supporting children and young people aged between 7 and 19 years with Severe, Moderate, and Complex Learning Difficulties (SLD/MLD) are looking for an committed SEN Teacher to join their teaching team.

The school prides itself on its inclusive approach to education that is both holistic and academic with a dedicated committed teaching staff.

The school has on site parking with good transport links (train and tube) nearby

What the role involves
  • Tailoring and accommodating work to support SLD
  • Working alongside 3 experienced and supportive Specialist Support Assistants (SSAs)
  • Planning and delivering a creative, personalised curriculum
  • Assessing and tracking progress for the pupils you teach
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every student is valued
We\'re looking for someone
  • An experienced qualified Teacher or ECT with a willingness to develop and committed to creating a positive environment and high standards
  • Is confident planning and teaching lessons in line with EYFS curriculum
  • Works well as part of a team and brings a caring, flexible approach to the classroom
