About the Role

Our partner school is seeking a passionate and committed SEND Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, inclusive education to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.

You will work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and support staff to plan and deliver tailored learning programmes that meet individual pupil needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress against individual targets
  • Contribute to the development and review of EHCPs and support plans
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND (desirable)
  • A strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
