East Midlands/ temporary / £150 - 250 per day

Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children in developing their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Their culture is one of patience, inclusivity and helping children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential, whilst promoting independence to allow them to participate fully in society.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The successful SEND teacher will be working directly with students across Key Stages 3 and 4 / KS3 and KS4, whose ages range 11-16 years. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD.

Qualifications
  • QTS
  • Experience working with children and young people with additional SEND needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD
