About the Role

The Education Network is recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Workers to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of educational settings. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about inclusion and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
  • Support learners with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
  • Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual support plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school or care setting)
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
  • Relevant qualifications or SEND training (desirable but not essential)
