Responsibilities

• We are looking to appoint an outstanding and determined SENDCO who has a true passion for inclusion and for education. The SEND department is dynamic and forward thinking, and eager to see pupils succeed.
• Lead and develop the SEND department, acting as a commitment ambassador for young people with additional needs and their families.
• Support the Senior Leadership Team to focus on teaching and learning, and participate in a comprehensive programme of induction and training to address individual needs.
• Provide leadership and contribute to improving life chances for young people and ensuring opportunities for students to succeed across academic, social and personal development.
