Job description

Overview

Are you inspirational, motivated and passionate about empowering young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to thrive as they transition into adulthood and reach their full potential? Then this could be the role for you. We are looking for SEND Coach to join Buckinghamshire College Group, based at our Wycombe and Aylesbury Campus. This is a permanent role, 37 hours a week / 38 weeks a year (term time only).

Responsibilities

• Lead small groups of young people with SEND on outings within the community. Activities may include visiting local parks, museums, and participating in social activities to create meaningful experiences.
• Empower learners by teaching essential life skills such as communication, budgeting, time management, travel training and self-advocacy.
• Support learners in preparing for adulthood and helping them reach their full potential.
