Job summary

A multi-academy trust in the UK is seeking a dedicated SENCO to join Filey Academy on a part-time temporary basis from April 2026 to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of SEN provision and will be integral to the Leadership Team, providing direction and support. Filey Academy are looking to appoint a Senco to join our academy in April 2026 on a part time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

In this role, you will carry out the duties of the SENCO with teaching responsibilities.

We are looking to appoint a committed individual with excellent SEND knowledge to help lead our SEND provision at the school as maternity leave cover from Easter 2026.

You will be an integral part of the Leadership Team, providing a high level of managerial and operational direction for the school.

This is a great opportunity for current SENCo leaders or teachers looking for career progression in this key area of educational provision.
