SEN Tutor - Make a Real Difference

Locations: Hyde | Tameside | Oldham

Pay: From £70 per shift

Hours: 9:30am - 1:00pm, Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and looking for a role where you can truly change a young person's day-to-day experience? We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutors to provide tailored, 1:1 support for children outside of a traditional classroom setting.

This is a highly rewarding role, ideal for experienced educators, tutors, support workers or individuals with a strong SEN background who are looking for part-time, daytime hours with real impact ✨

The Role
  • Collecting the child from their home and accompanying them to public learning spaces (such as libraries or community settings)
  • Delivering structured learning activities tailored to the child's individual needs
  • Supporting engagement, focus and confidence in learning
  • Managing and supporting behaviour positively and consistently
  • Adapting sessions to suit learning styles, interests and ability levels
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families and professionals
✅ Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)
  • Driving preferred, but not essential (role dependent)
  • Calm, patient and adaptable approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage sessions confidently
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
