Job Title: SEN Tutor (QTS) - Harlow

Location: Harlow, Essex
Contract Type: Flexible - Part-time or Full-time Hours Available
Pay Rate: 25- 35 per hour (dependent on experience)

Remedy Tutors provides tailored, 1-1 and small group tuition to children and young people with a range of special educational needs. We work closely with schools, local authorities, and families to ensure each learner receives the personalised support they need to thrive.

The Role:
We are looking for passionate and experienced Qualified Teachers (QTS) to deliver high-quality SEN tuition in Harlow. The role involves working with learners in their homes, schools, or alternative provisions, helping them progress both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for students with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and more)

  • Create a safe, supportive learning environment that encourages confidence and independence

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents, schools, and our team

  • Maintain accurate session records and progress reports

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting learners

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
