Job summary

A leading education agency in London is seeking Tutors to support learning for vulnerable children, primarily focusing on English, Maths, and Science. Overview

London | £25 - £30 per hour | Full time & Part time available. Aspire People are currently recruiting Tutors to support the learning and development of Children requiring home tutoring. Aspire people is committed to closing the attainment gap for children outside of formal schooling. We work with a wide-range of Looked After Children in care who have a diverse set of needs. Tutors provide learning assistance for young people preparing for exams or re-adjusting to mainstream education. We are currently seeking tutors for home tuition and school based supporting students with the biggest focus on delivering core skills in English, Maths, Science and behaviour specialists.

Responsibilities / Roles
  • Provide learning assistance for young people preparing for exams or re-adjusting to mainstream education (home tuition and school-based support).
  • Deliver core skills in English, Maths, Science and behaviour support as part of tutoring for Looked After Children and vulnerable learners.
Skills and Experience / Qualifications
  • Teachers for all subjects required, with a particular focus on English, Maths & Science (No QTS needed).
  • Understanding and appreciation of working with vulnerable young people in the care system and those with SEN.
  • Positive behaviour strategy knowledge and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS check.
  • Excellent written communication and reporting.
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
