SEN Teaching Assistant - January start!

Location: Central Northampton

Flexible hours - part time / full time

We are looking for an experienced, patient and dedicated TA to support pupils in mainstream education with SEN needs including ADHD and Autism.

The role will include working in the mainstream classroom working 1:1 or in small groups to offer extra support to those students who need it.

Your Day-to-Day will include:
  • 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Keeping students engaged through fun and exciting activities
  • Building student confidence and independence
  • Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff
  • Being consistent and positive
  • Following the school behaviour policy
You will need:
  • Experience with children in a school setting
  • An understanding of working with children with ADHD / Autism
  • Good communication skills
  • Patience and committment to the role and the students
