Learning Support Assistant – Liverpool – Full-time | From £101.40 per day

Are you hoping to build a career in primary education? This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a secondary school setting, supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You'll work closely with young people who may be neurodivergent or affected by ADHD or trauma, developing practical skills and insight that are essential for working in today's classrooms.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you'll:

  • Support students
  • Help students regulate emotions, build resilience, and re‑engage with education
  • Use restorative practices to encourage positive behaviour
  • Work alongside therapists and staff in a holistic, trauma‑informed environment
Ideal Candidates

We welcome:

  • Graduates in Criminology, Psychology, Youth Work, or Social Sciences (or non‑graduates with relevant experience)
  • Individuals with a strong interest in justice, neurodiversity, and restorative care
  • Calm, empathetic communicators who value connection before content

Experience with children or young people is beneficial, but not essential—full training provided.
