A local educational institution in East Midlands is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for pupils with special educational needs. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £26,832 - £28,146 per annum for 30 hours a week during term time. The ideal candidate should possess an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification, have experience working with children, and be adaptable in planning and facilitating learning activities. Approximate actual starting salary : Grade 7 Pay Point 11-14 (FTE salary £26,832 - £28,146 per annum)
Hours : 30 hours per week ; 39 weeks per year (Term time only plus INSET days)
Appointment will be subject to Discovery Academy Trust pay and conditions
Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of a 6-month probationary period
