Location : Dartford, Kent

Salary : £88.94 – £95+ per day (depending on experience)

Contract : Full-time

Are you a reliable, committed, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role in Dartford? GSL Education Kent are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist school that provides exceptional care and tailored education for children with a range of additional needs.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured Monday–Friday routine and is confident supporting pupils with autism, SEMH needs, communication challenges, and complex learning profiles. As an SEN Teaching Assistant , you will help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every pupil can reach their full potential.

Essential Requirements – Please Do Not Apply if You Do Not Meet These :

• You MUST be available Monday to Friday (no flexibility on this).
• You MUST be a driver with access to your own vehicle.

Candidates who do not meet these two essential requirements cannot be considered for this role.

• Support behaviour in a calm, therapeutic manner
• Help the class teacher maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Promote independence, daily living skills, and pupil engagement
• Follow individual learning plans and EHCPs carefully

Requirements :

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care setting)
• A patient, calm, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safeguarding and behaviour support procedures
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
