Are you an experienced teacher looking to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are working with a specialist SEMH school in Milton Keynes seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive, values-driven environment where pupil progress is measured not just academically but personally and socially too.

The Role

You will teach small groups of pupils, delivering creative, personalised learning that promotes both academic achievement and emotional development. The role involves working closely with pastoral teams, families, and external professionals to ensure pupils feel supported, safe, and motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and personal growth
  • Apply positive behaviour management and trauma-informed practices
  • Collaborate effectively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and other professionals
