Overview

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher? Are you looking for a new role in the borough of Westminster? Do you have experience working with primary age children with ASD?

Role details

Beginning Oct/Nov 2025, this fixed term contract offers options to become permanent with a 3 Form Entry Primary School in Westminster. Salary: MPS2 - UPS3 Inner London Pay Scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on intervention for groups of children across the school with ASD.
  • Support children, teachers and parents/carers to ensure children with additional needs receive a tailored and enriched curriculum.
  • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum and apply hands-on strategies for pupils with ASD.
  • Collaborate with teachers across the school and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Receive mentoring from an experienced SENCO and support from visiting therapists.
Qualifications and experience
  • QTS is essential.
  • Experience working with primary-age children with ASD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • SEN specialization or additional training in ASD is advantageous but not essential.
