Overview

TeacherActive is proud to be working with multiple SEND schools in the Bolton area, supporting with their recruitment for SEN Teachers. The settings of these schools are centred on pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.

Responsibilities

• Take on short-term and long-term roles (with potential for long-term placement for the right SEN Teacher).
• Work with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses including Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours.
• Be a proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently and adapt to individual needs.

Qualifications

• SEND Teaching experience.
• A good knowledge of the national curriculum.
• The initiative, ability and desire to deliver fun and engaging lessons.
• The ability to build good relationships with staff and pupils.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
