A leading education provider in Manchester seeks a passionate SEN/SEMH Teacher to join their specialist school in January. This role involves delivering high-quality, engaging learning and working with students with complex needs aged 6 to 19. Candidates should have a teaching qualification and experience in SEND contexts. The school offers a supportive environment with excellent facilities to aid learning and growth.
Are you a passionate, experienced and patient SEN Teacher? Are you looking for a new challenge in an excellent SEND/SEMH specialist school?
I am working with a multi‑academy trust that is looking for a SEN/SEMH Teacher to join their specialist school this January. The school provides a highly personalised learning environment for students aged 6 to 19 with a range of complex needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD), Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other associated difficulties. Many of our students also have medical needs and sensory or physical impairments. Our approach is tailored to help students manage sensory overload, anxiety, low self‑esteem, and challenges with transitions, often reflected in their behaviour.
The school boasts exceptional, fully inclusive facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool and expansive outdoor learning spaces. The school has its own full therapeutic team who work closely with class leaders to create a child‑centred curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
As a SEN/SEMH Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, engaging learning within a meaningful and individualised curriculum designed to challenge and stretch all learners in your class. You will work as part of a dedicated team focused on providing the best education possible to prepare our students for their future.
If this sounds like the ideal next step for you, send your CV.
