An Outstanding SEN school in Hackney, East London is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team, supporting a Key Stage 3/4 class with 9 primary-aged students.

The school is a vibrant learning community, offering education for 4-19 year-olds with highly specialised provisions for learners with autism.

The school place each child's individual needs and goals at the centre of their work. Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about teaching in a non-mainstream environment and embrace the unique opportunities provided by a special school setting.
  • Demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach, using creativity to deliver inclusive, engaging, and inspiring lessons.
  • Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS).
  • Have experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEND, gained through Initial Teacher Training (ITT) or other opportunities.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with complex needs and learning difficulties.
