Overview

Are you a compassionate and resilient teacher ready to make a lasting impact on children with complex needs?

We are looking for a creative, nurturing and qualified Primary School Teacher to work in one of our inclusive SEN Primary schools in Warrington that supports pupils with a range of complex special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Multi Learning Disabilities (MLD), Communication delays and behavioural challenges.

The Role
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with complex learning profiles.
  • Create a nurturing and safe environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Use de-escalation strategies and a trauma-informed approach to manage behaviour positively and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, families and other professionals to meet each pupil’s individual needs.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with complex or behavioural needs.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic teaching style.
  • Strong planning and classroom management skills, with a focus on emotional regulation and communication.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Safeguarding Training (provided)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update service
  • At least 2 employment references (at least 2 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
