Overview

SEN Teacher - Goodmayes, IG3 - Immediate start. Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an SEN Teacher to join a Specialist Needs school in Redbridge (IG3). The school aims to deliver quality teaching and support to students with special needs. Facilitating children and young people KS1-KS3, the position is open to both Primary and Secondary qualified candidates.

Start Date: Immediate (January 2025)

Class sizes

8-20 based on provision

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate learning for students across KS1-KS3, with provision for both Primary and Secondary qualified candidates.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
  • Maintain excellent classroom management and effective behavior strategies.
  • Communicate clearly with staff, parents and students to support pupil progress.
Qualifications and Experience
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • UK classroom experience.
  • Previous SEN / SEMH experience.
  • Ability to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding certificate issued within the last year.
Eligibility to Apply
  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold or process an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service.
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
