  • 6 months of previous experience working with children preferred.

Learning Support Assistant – SEN Focus

Full-Time | Term-Time Only

£89.05 - £96.50 per day

Are you passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Supply Desk are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Brighton that we are partnered with, and provide high-quality, tailored support to pupils with EHCPs.

You’ll work closely with children who need additional help with communication, emotional regulation, and access to learning—using effective and structured routines, behaviour management techniques, and a nurturing approach to help them thrive.

You'll collaborate with experienced staff and external professionals, ensuring every child receives the regulated support they need to flourish both academically and emotionally.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Experience or strong interest in supporting children with SEN, including ASD, speech & language needs, or SEMH.
  • A sound understanding of EHCPs, differentiation, and inclusive classroom practice.
  • Confident using alternative communication tools and adapting teaching through scaffolding.
  • A nurturing, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a collaborative support team.
